JUAN CANTONE & SOL OROZCO
Teaching weekly Tuesday Evening classes from April 12 - May 10.
7-8:30pm Beginner Class + supervised Practica.
The first hour will be a class, then 30 minutes of supervised practica so that Juan and Sol can address each student individually. Although this class is Beginner, I recommend it to everyone. As one realizes in Tango, you can never get enough of the fundamentals! And you won’t want to miss the valuable instruction and insight from these teachers.
8:45-10:30 Intermediate Class + Practica
The first hour will be a class, then 30 minutes of supervised practica so that Juan and Sol can address each student individually. The area between Beginner and Intermediate can be ambiguous. For this class, ‘Intermediate’ is defined as having a reasonable level of technical understanding of tango and a good repetoire of steps; connection is attained more readily, but still quite difficult to achieve consistently. If you aren’t sure if you are ready for this class, let us know!
Fee: Drop-In Fee $20. Or Purchase a discounted 5 or 10 class card.
CLASS CARDS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE UNTIL NOON ON APRIL 12th.
* In the event that these classes are cancelled, the appropriate refund will be promptly issued*

Since 2006, Juan Cantone and Sol Orozco have taught, toured, and performed together in Europe, North America and South America. They have presented successful workshops and seminars at all levels and in a variety of venues, including International Tango Festivals in more than twenty cities around the world.
Their classes are lively and engaging and always based in fundamental tango technique. Their goals for their students are many, but foremost among them is the ability to dance well on the social dance floor with a variety of partners and with a good understanding of the musicality of tango.
Both Juan and Sol have extensive dance backgrounds. They have studied ballet, jazz, contemporary dance, flamenco, improvisational dance, theatrical dance, music theory, yoga and choreography. They have also studied with many of the respected tango teachers of Buenos Aires: Facundo and Kelly Posadas, Mingo and Esther Pugliese, Gabriel Angio, Natalia Games, Gustavo Naveria and Giselle Anne, Graciela Gonzalez, Chicho Framboli, Pablo Villarraza and Dana Frigoli, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa.
Other accomplishments include creating and developing the El Esquinazo Cultural Center which offered the Buenos Aires community cultural development courses, recreation and choreography fo the Dance Corps for the Pan American Jamboree XII. The Jamboree ended with a performance by Juan and Sol for an audience of 5000 in the city of San Rafael-Mendoz.
